Upgrading Oracle Software

Steps to be performed to upgrade your Oracle software:

1) Check to see that no processes are running currently
ps -ef | grep pmon

2)Shutdown the processes that are running

3) unzip the folder of the upgrade

4)Execute runInstaller

5)Upgrade completed
